day starts early for me (the usual case whenever we are to advance into malaysia and avoid the traffic). well it seems that everyone is doing that too cause there was a jam at tuas.
the destination: patu pahut. (not sure of the spelling)
the goal: to break their record of 400kg of durian eating
in the end, we only managed 80kg of durian eating on the spot, plus not too sure how much more of buying. this is the total number contributed by a full coach of 40ppl. as for me and my small little family, we didn't buy any back cause there isn't really that nice and cheap ones for us to carry all the way back. but rest assured, my friends, those whom have asked for durians, there are plenty over at stanley's place packed by me. hee.
no durians brought back, but we bought many many fruits. rambutan, long guo, papaya and a big watermelon. all these are free!!! or rather we've included all into our one day tour package. so we just packed and go and the huge fruit plantation.
dinner was superb. we had 大盆菜, a dish originally consumed only by the Chinese emperors. it has a total of 17 different ingredients nicely put together in a metal bucket (thats how it got its name). food for the whole day. i've got to go swim tmr morning le. if i do get up in time. now its 2.24am le.
been thinking through throughout the bus journey in midst my sleeps. i'm really lacking behind time in getting a perm job, in getting attached, in getting my script done, in catching up with my production, in catching up on my vcds and books and cds. argh!!!! well many many more things went thru my mind but too complicated right now. anyway as usual, it has got to do with all my fascinations and dreams and imaginations.
